Baby G is a 4 year old lab mix who came to us August…that is 11 months now. Baby G is intelligent, independent, confident, and clever. She loves fetch, tug-of-war, running, and getting out to explore the island. She gets along with other dogs, but my future parent(s) should bring brothers or sisters in to meet me before adopting. She’s very food motivated, so training me isn’t difficult. And she’s already house-trained! Baby G is an affectionate girl and once her energy is out, she is very cuddly. Baby G has a lot of potential and a lot of love to give…and she’s ready to go home today!

Treble is KHS’ second longest resident. He came to us as a stray in January. Treble has gone on a few field trips and everyone raves about him! He loves the ocean, loves to hang his head out of the car window, is friendly with everyone he meets, and is very sweet! He loves to hike and is a great listener! What more could you ask for? Treble is quite a gentleman! He walks nicely on-leash and thoroughly enjoys running around and exploring the dog park. When new people and dogs enter the park, Treble greets them warmly but appropriately. He is sweet and gentle, even when taking cookies. He’s a fantastic dog who will make a very lucky family complete. Welcome me into your family and I’ll be your devoted and loyal friend immediately! I am house trained. I have been on field trips and they said that I am a good listener! My favorite game is tug-of-war. ***I do prefer a household without cats!

Maya needs a foster home! We are looking for a patient, quiet foster home for Maya where she can learn more about the real world! She does feel more comfortable around dogs so a household with another dog would be great! Maya is a quiet 2 year old, whippet mix who came in as a stray with her puppies. She is ready for adoption, but the shelter environment is too overwhelming for this shy gal. Maya is on the smaller size, below knee height, and about 25 pounds.
