One of the really bad wounds she had. You can see even though she is still thin she is making steady improvements.

Khaleesi had a restless night. She really wants to get up but just doesn’t have the strength in her legs yet. She had a snack in the middle of the night and ate all of her meat this morning. She now likes to pick the meat out of her other food lol Another day closer to a healthier you Khaleesi!
Not quite ready to wake up :)

Day 5 pictures. No vet visits today. Khaleesi is not eating as much as she did yesterday and seems a little down. Hopefully she’ll have a better day tomorrow. She will be going back to the vet tomorrow evening (7pm Tokyo time) where Dr. Ike will be re-dressing her wounds and perhaps drain the rear right leg that has a lot of fluid below the stifle.

Khaleesi’s Second Chance Khali’s intake picture. She was picked up by animal control and taken to the prefectural animal control center on the island of Okinawa, Japan. She was in the state she is in when picked up by animal control – the victim of animal neglect and abuse by her previous owner.  Khalessi was rescued from Ozato (Japanese gassing shelter) by Doggies Inc Animal Rescue. She is now in the care of Jessica Creel one of Doggies Inc adoption coordinators.
