Rest in Peace sweet boy…
Why? I hope the abuser rots in hell.
San Francisco Animal Control Officers are investigating the case of a severely abused dog found at approximately 6:00am Thursday, May 14, at Division and South Van Ness in San Francisco. The dog – a one to two-year-old male pit bull terrier mix who shelter staff have named Maximilian – is suffering from blunt force trauma to his head and body, broken and missing teeth, cigarette and other burns, and severely injured paws with missing pads and nails. Animal Care & Control is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for Maximilian’s abuse. Anyone with information that could help investigators is encouraged to call Animal Care & Control at 415-554-9400. Callers may remain anonymous.
REWARD INCREASED TO $10,000
Maddie’s Fund has generously donated to the reward fund – which now is $10,000. (Call 415 554-9400: callers can remain anonymous)
Donating for Maximilian’s medical care is the best way to help: Donations will be used to pay for Maximilian’s emergency medical and rehabilitation. The medical fees are managed through the Friends of San Francisco Animal Care & Control Emergency Medical Fund. Any remaining donations will aid in medical care for other animals at ACC who have suffered abuse or neglect.
