$$ REWARD $$ – A reward is being offered for Jack’s safe return!!
Have you seen this handsome guy? His name is “Jack.” He’s a 1-1/2 year old, brown & merle, 70-pound, neutered male Catahoula & American Bulldog mix who went missing on 06/29/15 at approximately 10:00pm when the car he was traveling in with his family was in a bad accident along the Highway 101 & Highway 20 routes in the Willits/Ukiah area of CA. Jack has a white neck, chest & paws. He also has a white stripe on his face, and on the tip of his tail. Jack has a thick body, short coat, and medium-sized drop ears. Jack is micro-chipped, and the microchip company has been notified. He wasn’t wearing his collar/ID tags at the time of the accident. Jack’s family lives in Sacramento; they were on their way to Mendocino when the accident occurred, so Jack is unfamiliar with the area he went missing in. All 3 of the family’s dogs who were in the car got loose – Mia (grey dog), was sadly hit by a car and killed; Piper (black dog), is thankfully safe; and Jack (brown/merle dog) ran off into the trees alongside the highway and is still missing. Jack is described as being a very loving, goofy dog who can be shy – he’s a huge part of his family. Jack is a therapy dog for one of the family members; they dearly miss Jack, and are desperate to find him! The family is offering a REWARD for Jack’s safe return. Jack’s family is hoping he’s still in the general location he went missing from – possibly he’s hiding and scared because of the fires currently burning in the neighboring Lake County area. If you see Jack, please do NOT approach; however, DO keep him in your sights and call his family immediately.
If you’ve seen Jack, or have ANY info regarding his whereabouts, please contact Rachael ASAP at 916-804-2018 or 916-769-0303. Please SHARE, and let’s help reunite Jack with his worried family. Thank you! #MendocinoCountyLostPets
